In 2020, volunteers locally and globally came together to the Ikot Eyo Health Center as one of the locations to provide free medical and surgical care to the Nigerians in needs.
This was all thanks to the charitable contributions from kind hearted- individuals, which made it possible for medical professionals part of the World Surgical Foundation, IEAD and Destiny Care Foundation to come together to embark on this medical mission with the hopes of serving our community. Here's what we managed to achieve on this medical mission:
98 life-saving surgical procedures, including but not limited to - uterine prolapse, uterine fibroid, giant ventral and inguinal hernias, goiters, hydroceles, lipomas and cysts of various types.
Dental care provided to 82 patients
Eye exams provided to 332 patients
No patient could afford the life-changing care provided by your donations. No amount of money is too small, and can potentially save a life.
